Paris Saint-Germain produced a ruthless display to defeat Chelsea FC 3-0 at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, sealing an emphatic 8-2 aggregate win and booking their place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia set the tone early, capitalising on a defensive lapse to give the visitors the lead inside six minutes. Bradley Barcola soon doubled PSG’s advantage with a superb strike from the edge of the box, effectively ending any hopes of a Chelsea comeback after their heavy first-leg deficit.
The French champions maintained control throughout, and substitute Senny Mayulu added a third just after the hour mark, finishing clinically after more good work from Kvaratskhelia.
