With a career spanning over a decade, Akinwale Matthew Feyiyemi Abidakun is far from a newcomer in the highly competitive real estate market in Nigeria. For the influential property magnate and founder, Bluemart Realty Group —a Lagos-based property brokerage and investment company— his expertise primarily revolves around the sale of distressed assets, which include property classified as non-performing by banks, as well as remedial assets that require strategic intervention.
Abidakun cuts his professional teeth as the Executive Personal Assistant to Dr. Wale Babalakin, the Group Chairman of Bi-Courtney Aviation Services. It was at this period Abidakun honed his entrepreneurial mindset, an experience that would prove invaluable for his future ventures.
An alumnus of both Lagos Business School and Strathmore Business School in Kenya, the Akure, Ondo State-born Abidakun is actively involved with the Southwest Youth Advancement Group based in Abuja, where he works tirelessly to empower young individuals across the South-Western region of the country. There are whispers that Abidakun may soon take on new challenges in public service, furthering his commitment to societal progress. He is said to be interested in throwing his hats into the political ring after years of playing politics on the sideline. The property tycoon is considering leveraging his extensive experience and influential connections to contribute to the development of Ondo State, with an emphasis on driving quality leadership and meaningful change in his community.
