The New Associates (TNA), a pro-President Bola Tinubu political group, has stepped up preparations for its mega-rally billed for Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital, early next month.
According to the group, the mega-rally is in honour of President Tinubu and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
The lead convener and the leader, TNA Bayelsa chapter, George Turner, said the group is poised to make a bold statement of solidarity and appreciation to President Tinubu and Nyesom Wike for their invaluable contributions to Bayelsa State through human development in terms of appointments.
Key appointments to be celebrated include that of the Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr Sam Ogbuku and the Minister of State, Petroleum (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri.
Turnah who noted that Tinubu and Wike had facilitated the appointment of prominent Bayelsans into positions of authority in the Federal Government of Nigeria, stated that through the appointments, credible Bayelsans have been empowered to also contribute their quota to the development of Bayelsa, Niger Delta and Nigeria in general.
