A group, Dr. Alex Otti Frontliners (AOF), has endorsed the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, for a second term in office, pledging to mobilise voters for his re-election.
Chairman of the group, Franklin Ugochukwu, who made the disclosure after a sensitisation walk by AOF, at Umunneochi, equally spoke of the resolved of the group to intensify grassroots mobilisation, sustain peaceful political engagement, and deepen consultations with communities to consolidate support for the Otti-led administration.
Ugochukwu said the exercise was designed to strengthen grassroots participation and demonstrate support for the governor’s re-election bid.

The Convener of AOF said the mobilisation drive would also provide an opportunity for members and supporters to reaffirm their commitment to the administration as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections gather momentum.
Ugochukwu outlined plans for sustained grassroots mobilisation, door-to-door voter education, and youth engagement across Abia, urging participants to remain committed to the movement’s objectives and maintain peaceful political participation.
He said: “Take this message to your various polling units, wards, families, friends, village meetings, and clubs. Umunnochi will deliver bloc votes for His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, come 2027.
The sensitisation walk, which attracted members and supporters of the Labour Party and representatives of the Abia Arise group, ended at the Umunneochi Local Government Headquarters, where Lady Aguocha Ngozi, a woman leader in Umunneochi, Hon. Nwoke Maduakolam, and other participants reaffirmed their support for the Dr. Alex Otti-led administration and pledged to sustain mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
