Chapter and ward executives of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River have intensified calls for the resignation of the State Chairman, Alphonsus Eba.
The executives made this known during a combined meeting of the Forum of Ward Chairmen, Chapter Chairmen, secretaries, and the 196 ward chairmen of the party in Calabar.
Addressing the executives, Chairman of the Chairmen Forum and Chapter Chairman of Boki, High Chief Kelvin Njong, said the fight is a collective one against the state chairman and also a revolution.
“This is a collective fight and a revolution,” he said. “This issue is no longer a hidden matter. There is a crisis in the party; we have to address it and the only way to address this is for the chairman to step down,” he said.
