Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew has declared his readiness to defend himself in court over the controversy surrounding the Presidential Economic Advisory Council, insisting that the judiciary should determine the merits of the allegations against him.

Speaking on Channel TV Politics Today, Adeyemi said he was not afraid of legal scrutiny and would abide by whatever decision the court reaches after examining the facts.

“If I’m wrong, let the court of law do that, and if I’m right, let the court of law do the right thing,” he said.

He maintained that the appropriate place to resolve the matter is in court rather than through public speculation, expressing confidence that the judicial process would establish the truth.

His comments come amid growing public attention over the presidential council scandal, with calls from various quarters for a thorough legal resolution of the matter.
