President Tinubu’s daughter  inaugurated Pro Chancellor in C/River Varsity

A daughter to Nigeria’s president Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo has  been inaugurated as the Pro Chancellor by the Havilla University in Ikom, Cross River State.
Mujidat Tinubu – Ojo was inaugurated by the Chancellor/founder of the institution , Hon. Jones Tangban.
The inauguration which took place over the weekend at the University campus also occasioned the unveiling of an  International Centre for Vocational and Entrepreneurial Skill and Research.
The center has been  named after Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo as a mark of honour and also as part of activities to lined up for her inauguration as Pro – Chancellor.
Addressing Governing Council members after her inauguration, the Pro Chancellor  assured that the  institution’s Governing Council will work hard towards quality education.
She said this is in line with the  renewed hope agenda of  her father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is desirous  to make young graduates become self reliant and not depend
on white collar jobs.
Speaking on the vocational centre, she said, “The centre which will be technologically driven shall work with local and international organizations to provide first class training in skills and technical labour to champion the new industrial revolution in Nigeria and Africa as a whole”.
The pro-chancellor further stressed that Governing Council under her watch will work hard to attract capital projects to the university through collaborative effort and partnership to build a glorious ivory tower that will be seen competing with global world.
