President Tinubu chairs Federal Executive Council meeting

Tinubu presides over FEC meeting

The Federal Executive Council meeting is currently being presided over by President Bola Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The convergence is reportedly the second of its kind in 24 hours.

Speaking about the meeting on Monday, the Minister of Information, Mohammed Idris disclosed that it would address outstanding memoranda.

According to Idris, Tinubu is determined to clear all the outstanding issues following previous meetings dating back to December 2024.

“Let me also mention that there will be another Federal Executive Council meeting tomorrow.

“Recall that since December, we haven’t had any meetings, so many memos have accumulated. The President is determined to clear them all.

“So, we expect that there will be another press briefing after the FEC meeting tomorrow,” Idris.

In the meeting are Vice President Kashim Shettima, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume, the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, along with several ministers and ministers of state.
