President Tinubu celebrates Dele Alake at 69

… describes him as dependable ally

President Bola Tinubu has warmly congratulated his long-time ally and Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dr. Dele Alake, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.

This was contained in a statement released by Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President ,on Information & Strategy.

According to the statement, Tinubu described Dr. Alake as a dependable ally, consummate strategist, distinguished journalist, and accomplished public servant.

The President further praised his unwavering commitment to national development and good governance over the decades.

Reflecting on their enduring friendship and partnership, President Tinubu lauded Dr. Alake’s contributions to public communication and nation-building, noting his current efforts to reposition the Solid Minerals sector as a major source of revenue through policy innovation, investment promotion, and the formal integration of artisanal miners, in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“On this special day,” the President said, “I pray that Almighty God continues to bless Dele with good health, wisdom, and strength. He has remained a committed, loyal, and outstanding ally for several decades. His steadfastness and unyielding dedication to Nigeria’s progress mark him as a true patriot.”

President Tinubu wished Dr. Alake a long life and many more years of impactful service to the nation and humanity.
