The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has unveiled the fixtures for the men’s and women’s national competitions of the 2026 President Federation Cup following the official draw ceremony held at the NFF Secretariat in Abuja on Friday.

Speaking during the ceremony, NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, said the draw process followed the format used in previous editions, adding that this year’s competition would be more straightforward with no team receiving a bye into the next round.

Sanusi assured participating clubs and stakeholders that the country’s oldest domestic football competition would be conducted on a fair and transparent basis, stressing that all regulations guiding the tournament would be strictly observed.

Defending champions Kwara United were seeded number one in the men’s competition, while 2025 finalists Abakaliki FC were placed at number 64 in the draw. The tournament will continue in its traditional knockout format.

The NFF also confirmed that Asaba, the Delta State capital, will host the grand finale of this year’s President Federation Cup.

In the women’s category, holders Rivers Angels will face NAF Queens, while FC Robo Queens take on Rangers Women and Edo Queens battle Ghetto Tiger Queens in some of the standout Round of 32 fixtures.

Other fixtures include Remo Stars Ladies against Onimarg FC, Heartland Queens versus Dragon Fury Ladies, and Nasarawa Amazons taking on Osklean FC.

In the men’s competition, reigning champions Kwara United will begin their title defence against Sporting Supreme U19, while former champions Enyimba face El Sharma FC and Rangers International tackle Godswill Akpabio FC.

There will also be heavyweight clashes involving Sunshine Stars against Niger Tornadoes, Bayelsa United versus OISA FC, and Kebbi United against Shooting Stars.
