Premidis storms Nigeria’s beverage market with Hard Rockk, Nkolo Mboka

The ever-bubbling city of Lagos recently played host to the unveiling of new beverage products from Premidis Nigeria Limited, as the company formally introduced Hard Rockk, an alcoholic ready-to-drink (RTD) carbonated beverage, and showcased Nkolo Mboka, a premium ginger-flavoured alcoholic beverage, to distributors, trade partners, industry stakeholders and invited guests.

The launch marked another significant milestone in Premidis Nigeria Limited’s drive to expand its portfolio and introduce quality-driven beverage products to the Nigerian market.

Speaking on behalf of the management and staff of Premidis Nigeria Limited, the Country Manager, Olawale Olarewaju, expressed appreciation to guests, distributors and trade partners for attending the event, describing their presence as a strong demonstration of confidence in the company and the opportunities being created through its growing portfolio.

Olarewaju said the occasion was more than a product launch, noting that it represented an important step in Premidis Nigeria’s journey to bring exciting products to Nigerian consumers while strengthening its relationship with its distribution network.

According to him, Hard Rockk has been developed as a modern carbonated alcoholic ready-to-drink beverage for adult consumers who appreciate convenience, refreshment and an enjoyable drinking experience.

He stressed that the success of the brand would depend not only on the quality of the product but also on the strength of the people behind its distribution and marketing.

“Our distributors are our partners on the ground. They understand the different markets, consumers and opportunities across the country.

Their commitment, reach and entrepreneurial spirit will be critical as we take Hard Rockk from this launch platform into markets across Nigeria,” he said.

He urged distributors and trade partners to see Hard Rockk not simply as another product in their portfolios, but as an opportunity to build a significant brand together.

Olarewaju assured partners that Premidis Nigeria would provide the necessary cooperation, resources and market support required to establish a strong foundation for the new brand.

He also acknowledged the responsibility associated with marketing alcoholic beverages, assuring stakeholders that the company was committed to responsible marketing and distribution practices and would encourage its partners to comply with applicable Nigerian laws and responsible-drinking principles.

Also speaking at the event, the Brand Ambassador for Nkolo Mboka, Prince White, expressed excitement about being part of what he described as “history in the making.”

Prince White said his role as the face of Nkolo Mboka was anchored on building partnership, trust and shared values that could stand the test of time.

He described the brand as more than just a beverage, saying Nkolo Mboka Ginger Flavoured Wine carries a story centred on celebration, life, heritage and the creation of lasting relationships.

According to him, the brand represents an opportunity to create memorable experiences among adult consumers while opening a new frontier for partnerships and business opportunities.

“This is not just about being the face of a product. It is about building a relationship with Nigerians and creating a partnership based on trust and shared values,” Prince White said.

He added that he was proud to embark on the journey with Premidis Nigeria and believed the partnership could produce lasting memories and a compelling brand story.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Premidis Nigeria Limited, Gopinath Reddy, described Nkolo Mboka as more than a conventional alcoholic beverage, highlighting its African-inspired identity and carefully selected herbal ingredients.

Reddy disclosed that Nkolo Mboka comes in four variants, offering consumers a range of choices as the company seeks to establish the brand within Nigeria’s competitive premium beverage market.

He called on consumers, distributors and trade partners to join Premidis Nigeria on what he described as a journey capable of creating mutual benefits and new opportunities.

The launch brought together members of the business community, distributors, trade partners, brand representatives and other stakeholders, providing an avenue for participants to experience the new products and explore potential commercial opportunities.

With the unveiling of Hard Rockk and the promotion of Nkolo Mboka,

Premidis Nigeria Limited said it was positioning itself for a stronger presence in Nigeria’s rapidly evolving beverage industry.

The company expressed confidence that its collaboration with distributors, retailers, consumers and other stakeholders would help drive the brands’ growth across the country.
