Oladapo OJ Adewunmi, a visionary leader in Africa’s digital entertainment industry, is the Chief Executive Officer of Apollo Endeavor, a fast-rising creative and talent management agency empowering over 500 African creators to monetize their craft globally.
As the convener of the African Creators Summit, Adewunmi has established himself as a driving force in connecting Africa’s creative community with the international digital ecosystem.
Born and raised in Lagos State, Nigeria, Oladapo Adewunmi attended Government College Ikorodu and later Government College Lagos, before obtaining his degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management (IRPM) from Lagos State University (LASU).
His leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in innovation, cultural authenticity, and the empowerment of emerging talent.
Since founding Apollo Endeavor, Adewunmi has redefined digital talent management through strategic collaborations and the integration of technology into entertainment. Under his guidance, Apollo Endeavor has deployed AI-powered content analytics, blockchain-based royalty systems, and global monetization partnerships with platforms such as Meta and YouTube Premium (via Menta Music), driving over a 300% increase in creator earnings across Africa.
In addition to corporate leadership, Adewunmi’s passion for youth empowerment led to the creation of the Apollo Creators Foundation, a non-profit initiative providing mentorship and financial aid to upcoming creators. Participants in his programs consistently record engagement rates twice the industry average, a testament to his impact on creative education and growth.
His global recognition includes the 2024 Global Recognition Award for his contributions to Africa’s entertainment and digital industries. Beyond his professional achievements, Oladapo is a devoted family man, married to Sandra Agioya Adewunmi since October 2016, and blessed with two children, Heaven Ifedayo Adewunmi and Delijah Tantoluwa Adewunmi.
