SCORENigeria can exclusively report that the Super Eagles final squad for the 2025 AFCON in Morocco has been delayed because of what a top source described as “some powerful interests.”
These “powerful” interests are pushing for the inclusion of some players on the final squad.
“That is what has delayed the announcement of the final squad, nothing more, nothing less,” an official disclosed.

The NFF have approved a final squad of 28 players for the tournament, which kicks off on December 21.
CAF have given all the teams for the AFCON to submit their final squad up till tomorrow to submit their final squads for the tournament.
