Following his recent legal fights, Nigerian actress Ashabi Simple has tearfully prayed for divine intervention on her husband’s behalf, Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable.
Portable, a prominent singer known for his outspoken nature and provocative acts, was recently proclaimed sought by Nigerian police on charges of assaulting officials from the Ogun State Government.
According to reports, the incident occurred when government officials were on official business, and Portable and his companions reportedly beat them.
As a result, all of Portable’s associates have been arrested, but the singer himself has been on the run, with the police now issuing a warrant for his arrest.

In response, Portable openly sought the Ogun State government’s pardon and urged Nigerians to intercede on his behalf.
During the ensuing scandal, Ashabi Simple, one of Portable’s baby mamas, resorted to Instagram to express her great emotional pain.
In an emotional video, she can be seen crying as she prays fervently for her husband, pleading with God for mercy.
“God, please show me your mercy. I can’t even help myself. I am so tired. Please help him for the sake of those he has been good to,” Ashabi Simple said tearfully in part.
