Port Harcourt shut down for Peter Obi movement

Pro-Peter Obi supporters defied downpour in some parts of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, to stage their rally in support of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

Thousands of youths dressed in white Polo shirt with the pictures of the LP presidential and vice presidential candidates engraved on it.

The rally which was along the popular Aba road, Port Harcourt, berthed at the Isaac Boro Park in the state capital.

Some of the persons that spoke including the Nollywood veteran, Hilda Dokuba, charged Nigerian youths to brace the “Obidient ” movement for a new dawn in 2023 general election.

They said that since the downpour did not stop the 2 million march in Port Harcourt, for Peter Obi for president, it was a clear demonstration that Nigerian youths were eager for a positive change.

According to St. Franklyn Oraye on his, about the rally, he said: “This movement is reorganizing Nigeria.”

Though, security agencies attempted to control the surging crowd and motorcade, its influx was overwhelming.
