Polo Club GRA Port Harcourt came alive and hosted its inaugural Life Xmas Concert. The event delivered a vibrant blend of music, culture and community celebration. It also drew music lovers, creatives, influencers and culture enthusiasts for an evening dedicated to Igbo pride and identity.
Branded the “Concert of Concerts,” the show highlighted Obiagu, the courage to boldly express identity through music, fashion, language and shared heritage. From the early hours, attendees thronged the venue, setting the tone for a night of high energy and cultural expression. First to perform were Eastern music stars Odumodu Blvck and Jeriq the Hussla. Blvck thrilled the crowd with his energetic delivery and commanding stage presence while Jeriq the Hussla followed with a gritty, street-inspired performance that resonated strongly with fans. The night reached a crescendo with a special appearance by Port Harcourt native Duncan Mighty, whose classic sparked excitement across the venue. Hypemen Jerry Shaffer and Tolu Daniels sustained the momentum throughout the event.
Speaking on the concert, Senior Brand Manager for Life Lager at Nigerian Breweries Plc, Chima Dim, said the brand remains deeply connected to Igbo culture and values. “Life Lager has always been a proud symbol of Igbo identity, rooted in the richness and vibrancy of our culture. The Life Xmas Concert reflects our commitment to creating experiences that entertain, celebrate our heritage and bring communities together,” he said.

The Port Harcourt concert followed successful stops in Abraka and Enugu as part of the Eastern Machine tour, led by Odumodu Blvck and Jeriq the Hussla. According to organizers, the tour has consistently attracted enthusiastic audiences and fostered strong cultural connections.
The concert series continues with upcoming shows in Onitsha and Abakaliki on January 3, extending the festive celebration to more communities across the region.
The Life Xmas Concert is part of Nigerian Breweries’ Legendary Christmas campaign, aimed at enhancing the festive season through memorable experiences across its premium brands.
