Political economist and governance reform specialist, Dr. Mahmoud Bala Alfa, has applauded Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, and his deputy, Salifu Joel Oyibo, as their administration celebrates its second year in office.
In a statement released to mark the milestone, Alfa characterised the two-year mark as a pivotal moment for both reflection and the renewal of public leadership responsibilities.
He said the administration has successfully maintained state stability while aggressively pursuing policies centered on institutional reform and enhanced service delivery.

He noted that achievements recorded so far include improvements in infrastructure, education and social programmes designed to support women, youths and vulnerable segments of society. He also highlighted efforts by the administration to promote peace, unity and public confidence throughout Kogi State.
Alfa emphasised that the next phase of governance requires sustained focus and strategic prioritisation to ensure long-term impact.
He expressed optimism that the coming years would see further consolidation of progress and deeper development outcomes for the state.
