A Policewoman, CSP Nwode Nkeiruka has distributed educational materials to many pupils across some public schools in Ebonyi State.
The materials include: desks, sandals and bags. Over 1,000 pupils benefitted from the distribution.
Pupils of the schools were sitting on the bare floor while learning before Nwode got wind of their conditions and distributed the materials. Most of them had no school bags and sandals before the gesture.
Nwode said the gesture was to support the schools for quality teaching and learning.

She commended Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun for giving her the opportunity and support to serve communities beyond duty.
Nwode, who is the Police Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters Annex, Lagos and who hails from Ebonyi State, said, “as part of giving back to the society, I was honored to provide chairs, school sandals, and school bags to support a public school.
“It may seem small, but access to basic learning needs makes a real difference in the lives of our children. Thank you to the school for allowing me to contribute in this small but meaningful way. I respectfully acknowledge the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for the opportunity and support to serve the community beyond duty”.
The policewoman had built houses for indigent widows across Ebonyi State.
