The Nigeria Police have appealed to members of the public for information that could assist in locating a man identified as Austin Ikenna Adiele in connection with the disappearance of approximately 35 grams of gold valued at about N7 million.
Adiele was reportedly last seen in Surulere, Lagos, on Monday, August 17.
According to information made available to the public, efforts to reach him since his disappearance have reportedly proved unsuccessful, while concerns have heightened over his whereabouts and the location of the missing gold.

The police urged anyone with credible information about Adiele’s whereabouts or the missing gold to contact 09064811051 or report to the nearest police station.
Members of the public were, however, advised not to confront or attempt to apprehend Adiele themselves, but to provide any relevant information to the appropriate authorities.
The police said information from the public could assist ongoing efforts to clarify the circumstances surrounding the disappearance and recover the missing gold.
