The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department in Ogun State, DCP Oliver Ezirim, and a House of Representatives aspirant, Abia state, Emeka Bahadur Ndubuisi, were among guests who attended a gathering organised by the General Overseer of Royal Choice Ministries International, Bishop Success Ibeakanma, in Lagos.
The event, held at the church’s headquarters on Sunday, October 18, was organised to mark Bishop Success Ibeakanma’s birthday, which fell on October 16.
Speaking at the gathering, Ezirim described the cleric as his spiritual father, saying his relationship with him had been significant in his personal life.
“Anytime I celebrate Bishop Success Ibeakanma with all my heart, doors open for me. That is why I always look forward to celebrating him again. He is my spiritual father and a true Prophet whose prayers produce results,” he said.
Ndubuisi, who is seeking election to the House of Representatives, on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, also described Ibeakanma as a kind and generous person.
Another attendee, Chuma Ezirim, spoke about the cleric’s concern for the welfare of others, while Simon, the vice-president of the ministry’s Men Fellowship, said Ibeakanma had supported him and his family in different aspects of their lives.
Ibeakanma’s wife, Pastor Faith Success Ibeakanma, thanked the guests for attending the gathering and celebrating with the family.
The event featured praise and worship, prayers, goodwill messages and a cake-cutting ceremony. The cleric also expressed gratitude to God and those who joined him for the occasion.
