Oke Odo Police Station, Abule Egba, Lagos, has cautioned commercial motorcycle (okada) operators in the area to ride safely and obey traffic regulations to prevent accidents while conveying passengers.
The Station Officer of the Oke Odo Police Station Inspector Ernest Ekeoba, gave the advice while addressing okada operators in the area recently.
He urged the riders to maintain peace at all times and refrain from unlawful activities capable of tarnishing their image and reputation within the community.

“You must abide by the laws that permit you to operate on the roads. Stay away from thuggery, cultism and activities associated with area boys,” he said.
Inspector Ekeoba also reminded the operators to respect constituted authority and comply with all lawful directives, warning that anyone found violating the law would be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.
