The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three suspects over the flogging of a female employee for alleged theft at a boutique in the state.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin disclosed this in an X post on Monday.
On Sunday, an online medium, Sahara Reporters shared a video on X showing a lady being mercilessly whipped with canes by three men.
According to the post, the incident occurred at Don Maserati Classic Boutique on Lagos Island.
Reacting to the post, Hundeyin said, “Three suspects have been arrested, while efforts are on to apprehend other suspects and establish contact with the victim.
“The Commissioner of Police @LagosPoliceNG, CP Olanrewaju Ishola, assures Lagosians that justice will be served.”
