The police force headquarters have announced the arrest of Sergeants Abdullahi Badamasi, Isah Danladi and Inspector Dahiru Shuaibu, the police officers caught in a viral video firing into the air in Kano state.
The officers who were attached to a popular Kano musician, were caught firing into the air with their pistols and AK-47, riffles while escorting the musician into his car.
Force public relations officer Olumiyiwa Adejobi, said the officers reported to the force headquarters Tuesday, for trial.
Adejobi, who promised to make full details of the trial public as soon as it is concluded, said “KANO FIRING: Sgt. Abdullahi Badamasi (on mufti, fired a pistol; Sgt. Isah Danladi; and Inspr. Dahiru Shuaibu (fired the rifle).
These are the men caught on the video firing into the air in kano, they reported today at the Force Headquarters Abuja for trial. The trial is ongoing. We will update the public as soon as the trial is over.
