Osun State Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection with the abduction of two persons in Ora Igbomina, Ifedayo Local Government Area of Osun State.
The police spokesperson in the state, Abiodun Ojelabi, explained that the suspects were arrested while officers were combing the bush for the abducted persons.
He said, “After the incident, on Monday morning, the men on ground went into the forest and right there, they were able to apprehend some suspects.
“Investigation is going to ascertain their relationship with the case at hand and what they are doing in the forest.

“We arrested five people and we are seriously investigating to know what their relationship is with the case.
“The search and rescue operation is still on. We still went for another bush combing this morning and we will let the public know as soon as we have any other update. We have not heard anything from the kidnappers as of now,” Ojelabi said.
The kidnappers invaded Ora Igbomina on Sunday evening and abducted Tayese Adeyeye and Sunday Adewumi.
