The arrest was made in the afternoon of Friday, October 9, as part of the command’s sustained intelligence-led operation to track criminal elements involved in motorcycle-enabled robberies across the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, said the suspect was linked to a series of robberies targeting POS operators and other unsuspecting victims in the state capital.
During the operation, police operatives recovered one motorcycle, one axe, one cutlass and other incriminating items suspected to be connected to the alleged criminal activities.
