The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested three suspects—Stanley Ukweze, Dauda Yohana, and Gemu Adamu, all residents of Wasa Village, Karshi—in connection with the attack on a Boys’ Brigade camping site in Zhayidna Village, Orozo.

The attack resulted in the death of camper Johnson John.

FCT Police Public Relations Officer SP Josephine Adeh said the breakthrough followed credible intelligence and digital tracking of the deceased’s mobile phones. “The FCT Police Command has recorded a significant breakthrough in its ongoing investigation into the tragic attack on the Boys Brigade camping site in Zhayidna Village Orozo, which resulted in the unfortunate death of one of the campers, Johnson John,” Adeh stated.

The Divisional Police Officer in Karshi, CSP Mbang Usang, led the operation, recovering three mobile phones from the suspects, two of which belonged to John. The suspects are in custody and will face court upon investigation’s conclusion.

FCT Police Commissioner CP Ajao S. Adewale reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to a thorough investigation. He urged residents to remain calm and report suspicious activities via emergency lines: 0803 200 3913, 0802 894 0883, 0705 733 7653, or the Complaint Response Unit at 08107314192.
