Aribechukwu, daughter of Justice Rita Ofili Ajumogobia, has been murdered in Lagos State by yet-to-be-identified persons.

A family source who spoke on the condition of anonymity, sad,” It would appear that new household staff might have been responsible and tried to stage as if she was outside when it happened. However, the police in Lagos confirmed the incident, adding that three persons have been arrested in connection with the killing. Our correspondent gathered that the body of the deceased woman was discovered on Wednesday morning in front of her Parkview, Ikoyi, home.
Details of the incident were still sketchy at the time of filing this report but it was assumed Aribechukwu was killed between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The police source also informed Daily Sun that the suspects in custody were until the incident all domestic staff of the deceased.
Lagos State police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the incident, saying, “It is true that we got a report like that.
“Three persons have been arrested in connection with the incident,” he said.
Hundeyin added that the Commissioner of Police, Adegoke Fayoade, has directed the case to be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID)for further investigation.
