Senegal’s U20 women’s national team, the Lionesses de Téranga, have arrived in Abeokuta, Ogun State, ahead of their FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying encounter against Nigeria’s Falconets.

The Senegalese delegation arrived in Lagos on Tuesday night and proceeded by road to Abeokuta, where the team is expected held its first training session on Wednesday evening.

Saturday’s fixture is the first leg of the third round and penultimate stage of the African qualifiers for the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup, scheduled to hold in Poland later this year.

CAF has appointed Ugandan referee Diana Murungi to officiate the encounter, assisted by compatriots Immaculate Ongiera and Elizabeth Nassolo, while Burundi’s Suavis Iratunga will serve as fourth official. Ghanaian Christine Ziga will act as match commissioner, with Gabon’s Berthe Minka as referee assessor.

The winner on aggregate will face the victor of the Guinea Bissau versus Malawi tie for a place at the final tournament.
