SCHOOLBOY

I was told education is a forcible weapon,

Dissecting ignorance with a garnish of learned sauce,

I disliked the processes of growth,

A playground was my second home,

And as I aged, I grew to embrace this norms,

Studied to blur being dumb,

Now, I am full of words.

YAWA DEY

It is painful that men would gather and put all their hope in another man,

Who relies on produces of the farm,

That goes to the toilet like them,

Eats the same meal as them,

Make promises and fail, as others have,

One thing that stands out is we pin point the bad,

Forgetting amongst ourselves we have also failed to deliver,

This is a momentum of political agenda,

The parliaments, and legislatives are made up of brothers and sisters,

Who scaled through to have sweet words that takes us by surprise,

Suddenly we lose our reasonings and jump to accept their insights,

Proudly fight with our own friends, colleagues and families as we wave their party flag,

A little after the election we realise it is all the same,

Propaganda, propaganda, and a touch of give me time.
