Plateau Killings : Nigerians demand Justice

Nigeria has been thrown into mourning after the recent plateau killings by alleged herdsmen that left 86 persons dead in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, on Saturday. The victims includes women and children who were hacked to death while they were supposedly returning from a burial ceremony.

Nigerians Twitter  have taken social media to talk about the insecurity in the country and to demand for justice for the lives lost.

What happened in Plateau is tragic & unacceptable. It’s the responsibility of the government (FG & state) to protect lives & property of all Nigerians. No excuses! It’s not enough to issue statements. The govt should bring the culprits/sponsors to justice & compensate the victims, Plateau killings is just one of many cases.

Miyetti Allah took responsibility for the massacre in Agatu, nobody was arrested, they took responsibility for the killings in different parts of Benue State, nobody has been arrested. They have taken responsibility again for the massacre in plateau.
