The Plateau State Government has condemned in strong terms the killing of innocent persons following an attack by gunmen at Ruwi community of Bokkos Local Government Council of the state on Thursday, 28th March 2025.
This was contained in a statement signed by Joyce Ramnap, the Commissioner for Information and Communication of the state, and made available to newsmen in Jos.
The state government, while sympathising with the deceased families, condemned in totality the acts of lawlessness and said the unholy act undermines the government’s effort in entrenching harmonious living among all persons resident in the state.
She said, “The Barrister Caleb Mutfwang administration would not tolerate brutal killings of innocent citizens in any part of the state.

“We direct security agencies to hunt and track down the perpetrators of the heinous crimes and ensure justice for the victims.
“We urge our citizens to remain calm as security operatives carry on their investigation.
“On behalf of the Plateau State Governor, His Excellency Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, we express heartfelt condolences to the affected families and pray God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and heal the injured.”
