The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has confirmed that the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC) remains fully operational despite a minor incident that occurred at a section of the plant earlier today.

In a statement issued by its spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, on Wednesday, NNPC Ltd assured the public that the refinery will continue to produce refined petroleum products that meet required specifications.
The company insisted that all sections of the recently rehabilitated plant are functioning as expected, and there is no cause for concern.
