Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the arraignment of former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, to April 23 over phone-tapping allegations.
The Department of State Services (DSS) had filed a three-count charge against El-Rufai for the alleged unlawful interception of communications, linked to remarks he made during a television interview.
The arraignment was initially scheduled for February 25, but the former governor was absent during Wednesday’s proceedings.
