OneHealth is inviting Nigerians nationwide to take part in its Lumina Creator Contest. Participants are to create content that helps more Nigerians discover and understand Lumina, OneHealth’s AI-powered health assistant, is now open to the general public rather than students alone.
The healthcare platform said the Lumina works entirely inside WhatsApp, no separate app, no account. “It helps users navigate everyday health questions at any hour: understanding a medication, figuring out which product fits a specific need, placing an order, or getting connected directly to a licensed pharmacist or doctor when a question needs a human.

“It also underpins Màámi, OneHealth’s maternal and sexual health initiative, though medication guidance and general health questions make up the larger share of what people bring to Lumina day to day.”
Its Chief Executive Officer, OneHealth, Adeola Alli, said the contest is about getting more Nigerians to actually know Lumina exists.
“We opened it up beyond students because the questions Lumina answers aren’t a campus-only problem; they’re every Nigerian’s problem, from a parent trying to figure out a child’s medication to someone who just wants a straight answer at an odd hour.
“OneHealth is bringing Lumina directly to campuses including the University of Ibadan and the University of Lagos, once the contest concludes, extending community outreach the company has already run through the Màámi initiative.
“We’re not trying to replace a doctor or a pharmacist,” Alli said. “We’re trying to make sure that whatever a person’s very first health question is, whatever it’s about, they have somewhere reliable, free and immediate to take it.”
Nigerians interested in entering the Lumina Creator Contest, and universities, student bodies, NGOs or corporate partners interested in future campus engagement, can find details through OneHealth’s official channels.
