Former Arsenal star, Emmanuel Petit has chided fans who booed the club’s players after Saturday’s 2-3 loss to Manchester United.
Rejuvenated under Michael Carrick, United handed Arsenal their first league defeat at the Emirates this season.
The loss meant Arsenal recorded a third consecutive league game without a win, cutting their lead to just four points above second-place Manchester City, and negatively impacting their title hopes.

It drew criticism from many fans, who booed the players after the game to express their disappoinment.
Reacting in an interview with Metro, Petit argued that panic is premature while urging the fans to back the team.
“So stop the negativity especially for the Arsenal fans I want you to support the team until the end.
“Believe they have the strength and quality to win the title,” the Frenchman said.
