Former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has joined other protesters at the National Assembly, who converged to express dissatisfaction over the Senate’s decision on the electronic transmission of election results.
Obi criticised the Senate’s decision to avoid real-time transmission of electoral results, stating that elections should be allowed to go through the normal process.

“Simple transmission is not a difficult thing,” he said.
“Allow the election to go through the normal process; whoever wins, we will accept,” Obi stated.
He further affirmed that his presence at the protest ground is to make sure that the Senate makes the right decision when it sits on Tuesday.
