Dino Melaye, a former Kogi West Senator, has described ex-Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi as a fantastic individual who cannot be Nigeria’s president now.
Melaye, speaking on Channels Television on Thursday, argued that Obi lacks the ability to unify Nigeria.

Obi has consistently proclaimed his intention to run for president in 2027.
“But let me even tell you, Peter Obi is a fantastic Nigerian. I have tremendous respect for him, and I’ve said it before, he is a fantastic person, but this is not his time to be President,” Melaye said.
Dino Melaye after leaving the National Assembly, contested Kogi State gubernatorial election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, but lost to the incumbent governor, Ahmed Ododo.
