Super Eagles coach, Jose Peseiro has said he could still make changes to his final 25-man squad to the AFCON not later than January 10.
He made this disclosure against the background of latest reports concerning injury to Leicester City stars, Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi.
Leicester City has said both players are injured, but fell short of giving the extent of these injuries.
Both players did not feature in the team’s home game against Huddersfield Town on New Year’s Day.
Peseiro said he could make changes to his squad on account of injury to the selected players.
However, late replacements will have to come from the 40-man provisional squad that was submitted to CAF last month.
Deadline for the submission of final squads by all 24 finalists to the AFCON is Wednesday.
