Hon. Hafiz Kawu OON, mni, Executive Commissioner (Technical) of the National Pension Commission (PENCOM), has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on the occasion of his 74th birthday.
In his message, Hon. Kawu described President Tinubu as a leader of historic stature, whose courage, foresight, and resilience have consistently shaped Nigeria’s democratic and developmental journey. He noted that Tinubu’s life story is inseparably tied to the struggle for democracy, the building of institutions, and the empowerment of people across the nation.
“President Tinubu is a visionary reformer and a statesman of enduring influence. His courage during the pro-democracy struggles secured the freedoms we cherish today. His transformative leadership in Lagos State redefined governance, laying the foundation for fiscal discipline, infrastructural renewal, and economic vibrancy. Today, as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he has brought that same determination to the national stage, initiating bold reforms that are repositioning our economy, restoring investor confidence, and rekindling hope in millions of Nigerians,” Hon. Kawu stated.

He further emphasized that President Tinubu’s achievements are evident in his decisive policies, including the removal of fuel subsidies, harmonization of foreign exchange, and renewed focus on infrastructure, energy, and security. “These are courageous decisions that reflect his commitment to long-term stability and growth. His administration’s focus on economic diversification and institutional strengthening demonstrates his deep understanding of Nigeria’s challenges and his resolve to overcome them,” Hon. Kawu added.
Hon. Kawu also praised Tinubu’s enduring legacy as a mentor and cultivator of talent. He noted that countless leaders across Nigeria today trace their political growth to Tinubu’s guidance and support, a testament to his belief in empowering others and ensuring continuity of leadership. “President Tinubu is not only a leader of today but a mentor of tomorrow.
