Penafort Energy/PFC All Stars tourney ends in grand style

The maiden Penafort Energy/ PFC All Stars championship, last Sunday, ended in grand style at Ojo, Lagos.

The much waited encounter saw host, Post Service Football Club [PFC] defeat De Friend’s All Stars 2-1 before their taming fans.

Speaking during the trophy presentation, Club President, Simeone Emelifi, expressed his satisfaction while giving kudos to sponsors and match officials.

The business mogul turned philanthropist, however assured club members other great project yet to be unveiled.

“We founded this club with a clear vision — to nurture local talent, promote the spirit of sportsmanship, and bring top-level football closer to the grassroots. We continue our mission to grow not just a team, but a legacy right here in the heart of Lagos.”

‘I can proudly tell you I’m satisfied with the officiating of the competition and I will also use this medium to give kudos to our sponsors for their ending love and support. We never knew this will turn out big and emerge cynosure of all eyes in the community, but we thank God we’re able to achieve our target.”

“We are also focusing on three key areas: development, discipline, and delivery. We are investing in youth academies, upgrading our facilities, and fostering a culture of excellence both on and off the pitch.”

“ Once again, I say a big congratulations to all participant for they have made us proud and the community as you can see is also proud of them,’ he stated.

Meanwhile, the tourney saw winner bagging the whopping sum of ₦3,000,000 while first runner-up received ₦2,000,000 and third-placed team chart away with ₦1,000,000.
