Popular TikTok creators Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, have held a civil wedding, formally beginning the legal process of their marriage.

The court wedding took place on Wednesday, ahead of the couple’s grand wedding ceremony scheduled for August 1, 2026.

Videos and photos from the civil ceremony have since gone viral on social media, capturing moments from the event as the couple completed the legal formalities of their union.

The legal wedding comes weeks after the pair completed their traditional marriage rites in Benin City, Edo State, where Peller formally met Jarvis’ family and paid the bride price in June.

Peller and Jarvis rose to fame through TikTok livestreams, comedy skits and relationship-centred content, amassing millions of followers across Nigeria and beyond.

Following the announcement of their white wedding date, fans, fellow content creators and celebrities flooded social media with congratulatory messages.

The duo are expected to hold their white wedding on August 1, 2026, in what is already being described as one of the biggest influencer weddings of the year.
