Southwest Chairmen of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has commended Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, over a resolution made on half salary inherited by his government.

A communique issued at the end of the zonal strategic meeting on Friday, signed by Dr. Eddy Olafeso, Zonal Liaison Desk Officer Southwest, and other six chairmen of PDP in the six states of the southwest was made available to our correspondent.

They noted that Adeleke has performed well within two months, particularly in the program’s highlights for the celebration of his 100 days in office.

It was also resolved at the meeting that efforts should be made to ensure the victory of Atiku Abubakar as president and all candidates of the party, both at the state and national levels.

The chairmen warned against anti-party and charged party members to strengthen the cord of mobilization for victory in the national elections.

“Governor Adeleke has before clocking 100 days in office transformed Osun beyond the imagination of friends and foes, saying he has recorded unprecedented achievement in the resolution of half salary and other outstanding emoluments issues within Osun public service; lunching of Osun digital and tech revolution; upgrading of schools and health centers across 30 LGAs, provision of motorized boreholes in 332 wards across the state; reform of the public service; community development projects over a billion naira; creation of Imole Youth Corps for youth empowerment.
