The 2023 gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Cross River State, Prof Sandy Onor, says his party still has a huge momentum in the state.
Prof Onor disclosed this after the successful outcome of the 2025 State Congress of the party in Calabar.
The congress saw the re-election of Venatius Ikem as State chairman alongside 38 other State executive committee members.
“All the ingredients of success have been epitomised here,” Onor said.
“We had a proper panel duly certified and sent by the National Working Committee especially from the office of the National Organising Secretary which is mandated to undertake this responsibility.
“You can see the PDP still has a huge momentum in our state and the future is beautiful and bright. It’s very clear to those who did not participate that this is the direction,” Professor Onor said.
