Dr. MacFarlane Ejah, the Vice Chairman Central of the Cross River State African Democratic Congress, ADC, says a block dominated by members of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP are fuelling crisis in the party.

Dr. Ejah disclosed this  while addressing issues bordering on the launch   of a Membership, Mobilization, Registration and Revalidation, MMRR drive by some persons linked to the ADC.

According to him, “We condemn in strong terms the actions of individuals who are not members of our party but are attempting to hold meetings in our name.

” It is on record that except for a group largely composed of dissatisfied members of the PDP block, every other group has been working harmoniously with the ADC.

“The MMRR composition is dominated by the PDP people who have not resigned from their party. The process of registration is clear, if you want to register, go to your ward and register.

“The planned inauguration of the MMRR by a group unknown to the state leadership is an affront to the leadership structure of a  party that is constitutionally recognized” , he said.

He also accused organisers of the membership drive of going all out to hijack the leadership of the party saying they will not tolerate it.

He condemned actions of people he claims are not members of their party but are trying to hold meetings and activities in their name saying “it’s democratically unacceptable”.

Dr. Ejah also insisted that the Cross River ADC has no faction and operates strictly in accordance with the party constitution.
