Dr Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has turned down a ₦30 million contribution from Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris, preferring the cash to be allocated to orphanages or other humanitarian organisations.

The gesture was made during a massive outdoor evangelistic crusade recently organised by the church in Kebbi State.

A representative of the governor, who addressed the crowd, revealed the N30 million cash gift as a token of Governor Idris’ appreciation for Pastor Enenche’s visit and spiritual outreach.

The governor, who was represented by Kebbi State’s Commissioner for Social Duties, Zayyanu Umar Aliero, revealed that the contribution was in cash and ready for delivery to the church.

However, Pastor Enenche, visibly surprised, politely declined the offer on stage. While acknowledging and appreciating the governor’s generosity, he maintained that the church would not accept the money.

“We sincerely appreciate the gesture and the governor’s generous heart.

“But we will not take this money. Please channel it instead to orphanages or any other charitable institution of your choice,” Enenche said.

The governor’s representative thanked Pastor Enenche for his humility and commitment to the gospel, accepting the pastor’s request with grace.

The moment has since sparked widespread praise on social media, with many commending Enenche for his integrity and refusal to accept government funds during a spiritual gathering.
