Following the conclusion of the Olympic Games qualifier, the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) has released the players ranking, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The qualifier, which was held in Morocco, ended on Sunday with Egypt picking the sole ticket allocated to Africa.
Team Nigeria volleyball, which comprised of Pamela, Esther, Rakiatu and Sadaatou gave a good account of themselves in the qualifier.
The team defeated Cape Verde 2-0 in the semi-final before losing 1-3 to Egypt in the final.
The duo Pamela and Esther finished in the top 2 while Rakiatu and Sadaatou were placed 11th in the ranking.
