Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) has said that Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, a former federal commissioner of Information and an Ijaw leader’s unwavering dedication and tireless service to the Niger Delta and Nigeria have made an indelible impact on the nation’s history and progress.
The PAP Administrator, Chief Dennis Otuaro, PhD while celebrating Chief Clark at 97 in a statement personally signed on Saturday, noted that his leadership, wisdom, and commitment to justice and development has continue to motivate and inspire purposeful growth and national development.
He added that PAP will continue to acknowledge that his influence extends far beyond borders, positioning him as a global personality.
The statement reads in part; “On behalf of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), we extend our heartfelt congratulations to A Great Nigerian, A Nationalist, A Role Model, Father, and The Icon Of Southern Nigeria, Chief (Dr) Edwin Kiagbodo Clark, OFR, CON, the esteemed National Leader of the Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), on the occasion of your 97th birthday celebration.
“Sir, your unwavering dedication and tireless service to the Niger Delta and Nigeria have made an indelible impact on our nation’s history and progress. Your leadership, wisdom, and commitment to justice and development continue to motivate and inspire purposeful growth and national development.
