There was panic at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, on yesterday, as one person was feared killed during a clash between rival cultist groups .
Findings showed that the clash broke out inside the campus in the morning when some youths suspected to be cultists stormed the campus and started chasing a student.
A video of the incident seen by Daily Sun ,showed how students scampered for safety as a result of the panic caused by the incident.

Some men in white attire descended on a man, and one of them started cutting him with a cutlass.
A student who pleaded anonymity confirmed that it was a clash between two rival cult groups, adding that no students was attacked.
Director, Media and Publicity of the polytechnic, Fadeji Joseph, said one person was injured and a lady who was running away in fear also fell down and was taken to the hospital.
He said:” We have invited the anti-cultism squad from the Force headquarters and they are here with us. The situation is calm for now, and nobody died.
