A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Oyewumi, has described the party’s governorship candidate for the 2027 general elections, Senator Sarafadeen Alli, as an astute public administrator, politician and philanthropist capable of winning the election.
Oyewumi, former member of the Board of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), said Alli had over the years built a strong grassroots following across Oyo State.
He said the senator’s experience in public administration and politics would be beneficial to the people of the state if elected governor.
The Ogbomoso prince and businessman also commended Alli’s contributions to the growth and development of Oyo State, saying he possessed the capacity to steer the affairs of the state to greater heights.
In a goodwill message, Oyewumi urged APC members to remain calm and peaceful as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

He expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in the polls.
Oyewumi also commended Alli for what he described as his inclusive leadership style and spirit of sportsmanship.
He equally praised the leadership of the APC in Oyo State for upholding the ideals of the party in its activities.
The APC chieftain commended the people of Oyo State for supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Federal Government.
He said the policies of the administration of President Bola Tinubu would address what he described as anomalies of the past.
