The Senator representing the Benue South Senatorial Districts, Comrade Abba Moro, described as unfortunate, the outbreak of a strange disease which has so far claimed the lives of over 20 persons in Epeilo-Owukpa Community of Ogbadibo Local Government area of Benue State.
Senator Moro in a statement signed by his media aide, Ameh Godwin regretted that the outbreak of disease and unfortunate deaths in Owukpa came at a time the state government and Health Experts are battling to contain similar incident in Otukpa.

He called on the Ministry of Health and other Health Experts in the land to quickly intervene in order to prevent the pestilence from escalating, even as he prayed God to heal the land of every virulent disease.
“He also commiserated with families of those who have lost their loved ones to the strange disease and prays for quick recovery of those currently hospitalized,” the statement concluded.
